The Hieratical Kneepieces are a rhombic fabric that hangs from the Belt in front of the right knee. It was originally used by the Ministers to wipe their hands and symbolized the linen with which Christ washed his disciples' feet at the Last Supper. Later, the Hieratical Kneepieces received the symbolism of victory over death and the Resurrection of Christ.
The Hieratical Epimanika of our catalog are embroidered with gold thread and have Ecclesiastical depictions in their center. They are decorated with tassels at their three free ends.
