A gift of love, prayer and faith. It has been humbly made in the Byzantine style to be a work of art and a relic to remind the Love of our Jesus Christ.
The Orthodox version of the Holy Bible inside can be delivered in four languages, Greek, English, Serbian and Russian. And so, what is written on the cover, back cover and spine will follow the respective languages, as well as the holy scriptures (Old and New Testament) inside the book.
The cover, back cover and spine of the Holy Bible are from beech wood and carved. Wherever there is gold, there are glued gold leaves, as well as around the book (on its pages) it is 24 carat gold, with the techniques that suit each case.
The individual carvings, i.e. the pray “Our Father” on the front cover, around the image, as well as the "Our Father" in the cross on the back cover, are carved with a Laser cutting machine. The "Our Father" on the front and back are in linden wood, as well as the hagiographies on the cover, which are printed by a special Laser printer (on wood) with very high resolution. The spine on the top and bottom, as well as on the sides, is sewn with goatskin. The same applies on the sides of the cover and back cover.
The binding has been made with pigskin, which is also engraved by Laser on the right and left of the spine of the book. The leather is glued all over the inside of the spine and up to the middle of the front cover and back cover with special glue on presses. The aging has been done with nitro colors in five individual phases of passage handmade.
The image on the cover depicts the four Evangelists, Apostles in each corner. John, Luke, Paul, Matthew and in the center is the Resurrection of Christ, who with his hands pulls Adam and Eve to His right and to His left, bringing them out of Hades. Christ has broken the doors, which are in the shape of a cross, of Hades and steps on them. Around the image is carved the "Our Father", as well as on the back cover inside the cross. Both the cover and the back cover are covered with gold leaf.
It is delivered with a certificate of authenticity from the Monastery of Hilandari - Mount Athos.
