Prophet Saint Zachariah was one of the so-called Minor Prophets. He was of the tribe of Israel and was born in Gilead in Palestine.
With his prophecies about the coming of the Messiah and the glory that the tribe of Israel would receive, Prophet Saint Zachariah motivated the Israelites to build the Temple of Jerusalem. He passed away peacefully at an old age.
