Handmade Byzantine Icon of the Last Supper made with devotion and respect by experienced craftsmen of the Christian tradition.
Before the crucifixion, Jesus had one last meal with his disciples in Jerusalem and informed them of his impending death. At the same time, he revealed to them that one of them would betray him (Judas Iscariot) and another would deny him (Peter the Apostle).
During the Last Supper, Jesus Christ revealed to his disciples the mystery of the Holy Communion.
The icon of the Last Supper is created using the technique of gold printing while its background consists of hagiographic leaves of 22 carat gold which are applied in detail.
During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
