Handmade Byzantine Icon of Jesus Christ Appearing to the Apostles Beside the Sea of Tiberias.
According to the Scriptures, the disciples of Jesus Christ fished in the sea of Tiberias without success. Then, Jesus Christ appeared on the beach and asked them if they had any fish. The disciples answered negatively but they didn't recognize Him.
He then advised them to cast their nets from the right side of the boat. From the large amount of fish they caught, the disciples understood that it was Jesus Christ who was waiting for them on the opposite bank. In fact, Peter fell into the sea to reach Him.
The icon ofJesus Christ is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is made with devotion and respect by experienced craftsmen for the art of the Christian tradition using the technique of gold printing.
