Handmade Byzantine Icon of Jesus Christ Healing the Born Blind Man.
In order to convince those who underestimated him, Jesus Christ approached a man born blind who, as his disciples believed, was the result of his own sin or that of his parents. On the contrary, Christ pointed out that this man was born blind so that the glory of God might be revealed.
Then, with saliva and soil, Christ made clay with which he anointed the blind man's eyes and commanded him to wash his face in the pool of Siloam. Thus, the blind man was given sight by the life-giving energy of the Lord.
The icon of Jesus Christ Healing the Born Blind Man is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is created by experienced craftsmen using the method of gold printing where hagiographic leaves of 22 karat gold are applied in detail to decorate the background.
During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
