Handmade Byzantine Icon of Jesus Christ the Bridegroom.
According to the Scriptures, Christ likened his coming to a wedding and himself to a Bridegroom, in whose person the "marriage" of God and man takes place.
The icon depicts Jesus Christ shortly before the crucifixion when Pilate's soldiers mockingly clothed him as a king with a red robe, a crown made of thorns and a reed as a scepter.
The icon of Bridegroom is made by experienced craftsmen, with devotion and respect for the art of the Christian tradition, using the technique of goldprinting while its background consists of hagiographic leaves of 22 carat gold which are applied in detail. The final treatment is done with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
