The icon of Deesis evolved from the Orthodox templon (iconostasis) and is now one of the most widespread representations of the Christian tradition where Jesus Christ blesses for the salvation of the world.
The icon of Deesis is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is made with devotion and respect by experienced craftsmen of the Christian tradition.
It is created using the technique of gold printing while its background consists of hagiographic leaves of 22 carat gold which are applied in detail.
During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
