Handmade Byzantine Icon of Panagia "Full of Grace" and Jesus Christ.
The miraculous Icon of Panagia "Full of Grace" dates from the 13th century and is located in the Holy Monastery of Xenophontos on Mount Athos.
The contrast between the melancholic appearance of Panagia and the meek look of Jesus Christ is attributed to the future Passions of the Lord. In recent years, it has been established that her memory is celebrated on the feast of Hypapante (Presentation of Jesus at the Temple).
The Icon of Panagia "Full of Grace" is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is created by experienced craftsmen using the method of gold printing where hagiographic leaves of 22 karat gold are applied in detail to decorate the background.
During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
