Handmade Byzantine Icon of Saint Blaise.
Saint Blaise had medical knowledge and selflessly helped all those in need. Because of his charitable work, he was elected Bishop of Sebastien, and thus was able to offer more help to his community.
During the persecution of the Christians, Saint Blaise was arrested by the emissaries of the prefect Agricola and was horribly tortured to deny his faith. When they realized the unshakable faith of the Saint, they beheaded him.

The Icon of Saint Blaise is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is created by experienced craftsmen using the method of gold printing where hagiographic leaves of 22 karat gold are applied in detail to decorate the background.
During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
