Handmade Byzantine Icon of Saint Euphrosynos the Cooker.
Saint Euphrosynos was a poor man without knowledge, who at a young age joined a convent. He helped in the kitchen and, because of his simplicity and humility, he was often mocked by the other monks.
One night, a priest saw in a vision Saint Euphrosynos, giving him three apples from God's garden. When he woke up, the three apples were on his cassock and so, the priest hurried to tell his story to the rest of the monks. After hearing about the vision, they recognized the power of God and cut the apples into small pieces, which they offered to everyone, so that everyone could benefit from them.
When they later looked for Saint Euphrosynos to ask for his blessing, they realized that he had disappeared.

The Icon of Saint Euphrosynos the Cooker is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is created by experienced craftsmen using the method of gold printing where hagiographic leaves of 22 karat gold are applied in detail to decorate the background.
During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
