Handmade Byzantine Icon of Saint Siloan of Mount Athos.
Saint Siloan was born in Russia with the name Simeon Ivanovich Antonov in 1866. Although his life was not wise at first, he received divine grace and the desire to devote himself to God was born.
He went to Mount Athos in 1892 and led a strict ascetic life. He died peacefully in 1938 and was canonized by the Ecumenical Patriarchate in 1987.

The Icon of Saint Siloan of Mount Athos is an exact copy of Byzantine art and is created by experienced craftsmen using the method of gold printing where hagiographic leaves of 22 karat gold are applied in detail to decorate the background.
During the final processing, the icon is painted with dark red color around the perimeter and polished with a special varnish to maintain its shine.
It is offered in level or recessed wooden surface and is suitable for wall mounting.
