Bishop Crosiers

The Bishop Crosiers originated with the abbots of monasteries in the East, who had under their administration large solitary communities and held a rod as support during long sequences. Over the centuries, the Despotic Rod has become a symbol of their administrative and pastoral power.

Originally, these rods were made of plain wood, but eventually, valuable materials were used.

Today, the Bishop Crosiers are made of metal, with their ends turned upwards and ending in twin snakes.

Our collection includes unique designs of Bishop Crosiers that are gilded and specially processed to ensure they do not lose their shine.

Other places sell Chalices that are less beautiful and more costly. If I bought similar items from other places, I would have spent at least eight times more than I spent with you. I do not know how you do it! The pictures on your website showed gorgeous items, but they look three times more beautiful in person. They say the camera never lies -- but in this case, the cameras were too modest...."
