Hieratical Poles
The Hierarchical Poles decorate the two lower ends of the Hierarchical Cloak and symbolize the two poles of the Earth where Christianity was spread by the power of the Gospel.
The Hierarchical Poles of our collection are elaborately embroidered and usually have depictions of Christ and the Virgin Mary. They are offered in various shapes and the most impressive are the all-embroidered ones in which the entire surface is embroidered with thread.

So the icon arrived, and in perfect shape... there may have been some delay due to U.S. Customs, as the documents pouch seems to have been inspected.
