Hernivoxeston (washing jug) consists of the basin and the jug which are used by the High Priest before Holy Communion to wash his hands before the flock.
It is also used during the ordination of the deacon where after the Doxology, the deacon uses Hernivoxesto to wash the hands of the High Priest.

I will ask you one last request... please ask the iconographer to make this his most beautiful work...as it is in memory of a beautiful person. It has been hard to decide on something that means so much, without seeing it in person...but you have been most helpful.
