Saints

The Silver Icons of this special category are exact handmade copies and for this reason the dimensions are specific, the hooks for hanging on the wall are nails for horseshoes, while the nails on the periphery of the icons that hold the frame are different as were in the original icons.

The Themes are painted on canvas by experienced iconographers in the old traditional manner of Byzantine art. The wood is oak and comes from the Mount Athos area. The Icons are silver with special treatment to remain unchanged through the years. Some Icons have gilded details.

The openings of the faces, of the hands and of other details of the depicted Saints are done one by one with the hand. The halos are done similarly.
