Hand-Painted Icons

We offer all Byzantine themes in icons hand painted the traditional manner of Byzantine art. The icons are painted with egg tempera and gilded with gold leaf on wood with three different types of background (ordinary gold, polished gold and no gold).

Production takes 10 to 15 days depending on the size and type of the background. Our iconographers will be happy to answer your questions on which type of background to choose for a specific icon by clicking here.
