Hand-Painted Icons

Our Icons depict all the Byzantine themes and are hand-painted in the traditional way of Byzantine art. The icons are painted with egg tempera and gilded with gold leaf on wood with three different types of backgrounds 

• ordinary gold
  
• polished gold 
  
• no gold
