Solea rail

The part of Solea is the elevated space in the central part of the Holy Temple. It is separated from the Sanctuary by the Iconostasis and is the place where the Gospel is read and the congragation receive the Holy Communion. The Despotic Throne is also located in Solea.

The Solea Rail serves to distinguish the space from the other parts of the Holy Temple. The following design is handmade and wood carved by the experienced hands of our craftsmen. It has carved and perforated motifs from the Byzantine and Christian tradition and decorates the space with a unique aesthetic.
