We offer all Byzantine Themes as hand-painted Icons, in the old traditional manner of Byzantine art. They are painted with egg tempera and gilded with gold leaves on wood. Our Iconographers are using quality pigment colours, 23k gold leaves for background gilding. There are three different types of background:
without gold
ordinary gold
polished gold
The Icons take from 15-30 days to be painted depending on the size and the type of the background. You can ask our Iconographers on which type of background is better to choose for a specific Icon by clicking here.
