Byzantine Hand Painted Icon of Saint Triantaphillos of Zagora.
Saint Triantaphillos was born and raised in Zagora, Pelion. He worked as a sailor on the city's ships. In 1680, on a trip to Constantinople, he suffered severe torture and was sentenced to death by beheading, because he remained faithful to Christianity and refused to convert to Mohammedanism.
His holy relic is kept in the Monastery of Saint Nicholaos in Andros.
